The Golden Goblin Paint Contest: Dokta Pain

     In honor of the Competitions happening at Games day today, my local hobby store was having it's own competition called "The Golden Goblin." I entered this Painboy I converted and painted, aaaand he won! Everyone did an awesome job, I wish I could show pics of them here too but everyone left.

       I call him Dokta Pain. Some of you will be able to tell he's a savage ork with a nob powerklaw/buzzsaw.

Just wanted to show some of my orks I'm working on to prove that I'm actullay doing a Ork army. It's been a while since I've posted them. I still need to post my Warboss I started ages ago. Anywho, these are just a couple of stormboys and a mekboy form my lootas squad.

Dark Eldar Wracks: Fruit

Last color scheme test. I call them Watermelon and LemonBot.  So far I still like my first one... ALthough I do like the idea of the yellow one with red on his metal stuff and then the watermelon Wrack. now I'm hungry.

Dark Eldar Wracks: Color Tests

Here are a couple different color schemes to choose from for painting the wracks. This was done in the high tech colored pencils on high tech white printer paper. So far I don't like the super colorful ones. I may stick with the first one like I always do which is the one that has red muscles with all normal metal and black dress thing. We'll see.

Speed Goblin!

Won a speed painting contest at my local Games[Shop]. It was for the store's Bday and an hour long. I didn't think that was very speedy but oh well a win is a win :D

Yorks! Tester Color

I like Orks. I started painting my ork horde army with Yorks. Yorks, which if you haven't figured out this complicated naming process, are a breed of Ork with yellow skin. I figured since the origin of Orks in the fluff is a highly aggressive fungus. fungus comes in all sorts of weird colors, sometimes eve glow in the dark! So I got my yello Orky skin from that. I might do some orange with red spots or something just for fun. :)
